This was pretty tasty as is, but I’d make a couple changes if I made it again. I put it in a 9x13 dish and it barely fit, so I’d use something larger. I’d also do this because the center didn’t get as crispy as I was expecting. I’d also consider marinating the tempeh to make it bacon flavored.
