Update: Made it again and changed it up a little bit. If you don't have tamari sauce use soy sauce. If you don't have arrowroot use cornstarch. I doubled the sauce this time bc I added almost 2x the veggies and more noodles. Instead of adding the arrowroot (cornstarch) with the water to thicken the sauce I added peanut butter! About 1/4 cup. Sooooooo good, I will def be doing this addition in the future. *Chef's kiss*
I use Trader Joe's squiggly knife cut noodles.
I should have taken a picture! My family really enjoyed this. I put it over noodles. I tossed the noodles in 3/4 of the sauce and waited until right before we ate it to toss the tofu and veggies (broccoli, red bell pepper and white onion) with the remaining sauce to keep the tofu crispy. It was a HIT! SO flavorful!
I did end up adding more water to the sauce bc it was strong and thick after I accidentally left it on the stove too long.
