I love cooked cabbage and this is a great savory recipe. The first time I made it with cabbage and loved it. This last time I used a package of frozen chopped collard greens and pressure cooked for 40 minutes. I thought it would work out but I was worried. It's great too! These notes are so I don't forget my family preferences. Here are my minor additions: 3 cloves garlic minced, 2 generous tablespoons tomato paste, a generous splash of Worcestershire sauce, a quick splash of apple cider vinegar, a teaspoon of red pepper flakes, and a heaping tablespoon of brown sugar.
Even so my wife adds SlapYaMama. Ground Buffalo also works great in this recipe.
