Tasty & tender, I enjoyed making this. I decided to almost totally cut the sugar, but added a small grated sweet potato at the same stage for better healthy sweetness if the recipe called for it, but it was really quite sweet. I would cut the sugar completely next time & probably just add a carrot grated to level the flavours. I am a master at adding grated veg of the types the kids prefer less, to balance their veg type intake. I turned this into a pot pie with shortcrust pastry on the top & adjusted the final stages to suit. Turned out great, will make again with my adjustments.
