Delicious and decadent - definitely a special occasion meal. The squash took a lot longer to bake than the recipe said (at least an hour in the oven total), but it was a very large squash. Overall the flavors worked really well together and we only made a few changes (subbed chicken for pork, added fresh rosemary to the meatballs, used fresh spinach instead of frozen, and used mozzarella instead of provolone because that’s what we could find).
