The whole family loved this. Tasted very similar to shoyu chicken I've had at hawaiian places. My store was out of 6 packs of chicken thighs so I had to get a family pack and double the sauce. We had a ton of sauce leftover that I strained and bottled but right now I have nothing to use it on. Maybe prepare ahead and buy extra chicken so you can use the sauce to make it again or as a side sauce for something. I wasn't sure what Shoyu Soy Sauce was, I used Dark Soy Sauce, I'm sure it'd be ok with regular soy sauce too.
