I skipped the whole searing process. Instead, I put the mushrooms in the bottom of the crockpot, seasoned them, and the meat with all the seasonings. I used onion powder instead of onions, as well. Then I put the pork chops in the crockpot. I poured the cream of chicken soup over that. Then, the cream of mushroom soup. Finally, the beef broth. Used a spoon to stir it all up. Covered and cooked on low 8 hours. It came out delicious, and the meat was so tender that it fell apart. Very yummy. I did not bother with the cornstarch slurry, just spooned the juice over the meat.
