I make with farm fresh eggs and don’t cooks…
Whisk yolks with sugar (could use less sugar) until creamy and sugar begins to dissolve.
Add cream, milk, and stir to combine.
Stir in nutmeg, pinch of salt and vanilla and chill well.
added half teaspoon pumpkin spice instead of nutmeg.
