For texture and crunch, I've never made a better fried chicken. I usually get juicy chicken from a buttermilk marinade, so that part wasn't new, but the outside was so good! It's extremely crunchy, and it doesn't immediately separate from the chicken or go soft like some homemade recipes do.
Flavor wise, it's okay. She's trying to copy KFC, which isn't my favorite to begin with. My husband is a huge KFC fan and he said it's better than other copycats I've made for him, and he liked the texture better than KFC, but the flavor wasn't quite it. I prefer a bit of a Cajun kick, so I'll probably use different seasonings in the future, just keeping the same general amount of seasoning.
To me, it's my current reigning favorite fried chicken, and we'll definitely make it a lot more often.
