Knowing that the broiler setting on my oven would result in hard, browned potatoes, I instead used my oven to cook this at 400*F. This added some time, but I just added the ingredients when I saw fit, and ended up broiling the meal at the end to brown everything. Since only my daughter and I are asparagus fans, my next adaptation was to use green beans in place of them, and sirloin steaks instead of the flank.
The seasonings I kept as written, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal that was produced, which despite my changes, was just as easy (though not as quick) as described.
It made for a delicious meal, and I intend to keep it in my rotation.
