We started the chicken marinating yesterday but ended up eating something else for dinner. So the chicken got to marinate for 24 hours. My old man believes this would not have turned out as good as it did if we had only done the hour called for. We can't eat sliced onion, so that ingredient and step were omitted. We only used a splash of lemon juice because we aren't fans. We eyeballed the seasonings. We only used 1 slice of Jack per breast. We feel we should have used 2 per breast. This was amazingly delicious. The sauce is kind of like a teriyaki sauce but also different. It's definitely a go-to.
