First time making this. Next time I will skip the brown sugar, too sweet. My sauce never thickened into a thick jam-like syrup. I added a tsp of cornstarch and a little water to get it to a gravy consistency. I spoke with a co-worker from the Philippines who said to skip the water, the chicken makes water when you cook it. That makes sense. Will try that on second attempt. This attempt tastes pretty good. Oh used dried bay leaves, don't know if that added anything to the flavor.
