Be sure to use quick-cooking steel-cut oats, unless you want to be stirring for 30 minutes. I had them on hand and saw immediately that this recipe should specify them. Also, be aware that a usual serving is 1/4 cup dry oats cooked in 3/4 to 1 cup liquid. I'm not sure why this creator made this choice. I couldn't finish mine. Next time I will likely just double the usual amounts so nothing goes to waste, and add appropriate amounts of cinnamon and flax.
