I usually triple the recipe to make 36-40 waffles on the weekend and freeze for the family for the week. They pop the waffles in the toaster to warm them in the morning for their breakfast. You can add fresh blueberries, chocolate chips, nuts, or anything else that you fancy. I prefer to put the waffle batter on the waffle maker and then put my add-in items on each waffle to have more balance from waffle to waffle. Batter is simple. The time spent is mostly passive while the waffle maker does its thing!
