I, once again, modified this recipe and boy did it come OUT DELICIOUS! Even got a compliment from the manchild..lol
So here is what I did..
Got a packet , of the following Italian dressing (the powder), ranch dressing mix, and brown gravy mix
Added garlic, powder, minced garlic, red pepper flakes and added it to the seasoning ingredients already listed mixed up and used on to the olive oiled roast before searing it, transferring into the crock pot once I locked in those seasonings. I then took a can of French onion soup and deglazed and added the remaining seasoning mixture w a 8 oz of water, and a 1/4 of a cup of NO SODIUM beef broth(NOTE: DID NOT ADD ANY EXTRA OR WHAT WAS listed “SALT” added a dash of ground pepper tho) mixed that and poured over veggies (which btw, used a bag of mini carrots n golden baby potatoes)
Closed the crock pot, set it on 8 hours and left it .. I then 2 1/2 hours later .. dropped the time to 6 hours and it was PERFECT at least 30 min before hand .. baked a loaf of French bread and WOW! Meat: FELL completely apart and tender, potatoes & carrots cooked to perfection.. we have leftovers for tonight (night b4 Thanksgiving), but also please keep in mind I did have a 3.5 lb roast vs the 2 lb shown in the directions, howler, I believe u still can uses the same and get the same results
O, btw, also, added, a packet of slow cook pot roast mix .. not lying it was AMAZING .. THE HOUSE ALL DAY smelled soo good was drooling in anticipation for this meal to get finished
