I added Italian seasonings and cooked the tortellini separate in chicken broth then used the broth in the soup. I didn’t use water.
Update: Made a second time, added sliced carrots and celery (for extra veggies), in addition to Italian seasonings, I added Herbs de Provence. Cooked the carrots and celery in vegetable broth added Tortellini then added to soup. Had so much flavor. I now have Italian chicken sausage in the freezer so I can make anytime.
