This recipe picture (AI generated) shows 4 salmon filets, but the actual recipe is 1 filet only 1 lb for 4 servings along with only 2 tablespoons walnuts. The salt and pepper go on the broccoli and you season the salmon with only garlic. This would be bland and a unsatisfying.

Dear April, we appreciate your interest in our website and our mission to provide healthy and delicious recipes for our readers. However, we would like to point out some factual errors and misconceptions in your message. First of all, the picture that you see on our website is not a real photograph, but an image generated by an artificial intelligence model. This means that the image is not an exact representation of the recipe, but a creative interpretation based on the ingredients and instructions. Therefore, the number of salmon fillets and the amount of walnuts in the picture may not match the actual recipe and it is not meant to be the only and "exact" way to make it. Secondly, the recipe is designed to serve four people, with each serving containing about 4 ounces of salmon and half a tablespoon of walnuts. This is a reasonable portion size for a balanced meal that provides enough protein, healthy fats, and micronutrients. The recipe also includes 3 cups of broccoli, which is a rich source of fiber, vitamin C, and sulforaphane, a compound that has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. The olive oil and garlic powder add flavor and health benefits to the dish, as well as salt and pepper to taste. Thirdly, we would like to remind you that taste is a subjective matter, and different people may have different preferences and palates. What you find bland and unsatisfying may be delicious and satisfying for others. We encourage you to try our recipe and adjust the seasonings according to your liking, or explore other recipes on our website that may suit your taste better. Finally, we would like to ask you to be factual (do not mark "Made It" if you didn't) and courteous when commenting on this or any other online platform. There is no need to be hateful. We welcome constructive criticism and suggestions, but we do not tolerate bullying, harassment, or abuse. We hope that you will reconsider your tone and attitude, and join us in creating a positive and supportive community of healthy food lovers.

Thanks April for the tip, but I can read and I'm well aware that the image is generated. In my kitchen I usually follow the recipe ingredients and instructions more than the images and sometimes I add my own taste or preference to improve or modify either the quantities or the presentation. You sound quite hateful when commenting. I hope you can find your peace of mind in the kitchen trying recipes on your own before criticizing someone else taste. Good luck 🤞

Hello Roseta Chef, My intention is not to be mean or hurtful. I did not say anything hateful or even emotional. I simply stated what the recipe is. However, the issue with using AI generated images is that it provides an unrealistic idea in the user. Your disclaimer that all of the images are AI generated is very tiny at the very bottom of the screen after they go to your website where most people are not going to look. So what they see is this beautiful picture of 4 large herb-crusted salmon filets on a bed of bright green broccoli with at least half a cup of walnuts sprinkled around, but that's not what they are going to get if they follow the recipe. It's deceptive. I have no issue with having a simple recipe that can be a starting off point for people if they want to customize, what I have a problem with is using something no one has ever made in your "advertising". This hurts the whole community as it causes distrust. We have enough in the world that isn't as it seems, a recipe should not be this far off. In food commercials and ads, the companies are not allowed to use computer generated images or non-edible additions at all as that is considered false advertising. Why should this be different? Why do we need yet another unobtainable thing hanging over us and making the new chef feel inadequate because they don't realize that what is shown is NOT what is in the recipe and was never made by anyone ever? Home cooked food is supposed to be a safe place. Taste is subjective and reviews are opinions, but this recipe made as is would be bland as it does not have many ingredients. That's okay as long as that is what the reader is expecting. Some people look for bland recipes because of digestive issues. But they see that beautiful herb crusting so they trust the recipe and end up with something completely different and think it's their fault. I hope that you can see how using images that do NOT match the product is hurtful to the entire community and you choose to use real pictures of real products in the future.

Dear April, here is The Roseto Chef. Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your concern about the use of AI-generated images on our website. We understand that some people may prefer to see real pictures of the recipes they are interested in. However, we also believe that AI-generated images can provide a creative and inspiring visual representation of the dishes, without being bound by the limitations of photography. We do not intend to deceive or mislead anyone with our images, but rather to showcase the potential and diversity of our recipes. Within our available resources we prefer to focus on our mission to harness the power of nutrition to support healthy aging through science-backed, mouthwatering recipes while leveraging the AI to give an as close as reasonable representation of the recipe. We do not see any harm in that. We also welcome pictures from our users who have tried our recipes. That is why Samsung Food has a “Made It” feature that allows you to upload your own photo and share your experience with others. We love to see how our recipes turn out in different kitchens and how people customize them to their own tastes. We encourage you to try our recipes and share your results with us and the community. We hope that you will continue to visit our website and enjoy our recipes. We value your opinion and we are always open to suggestions on how to improve our service (in good faith, as a result of your feedback, we will increase the size of the disclaimer and make it "bold"). Please feel free to signup on our website (https://theroseto.recipes/) and help us with any constructive feedback you may have. We commit to forward them to either our technical leads or to our nutritionist team.
