Problems I missed:
- need to soak rice cakes for the 20 min.
- don’t add any garlic or spices before the meat has cooked because otherwise you’ll skim off all the seasoning
Things I need to update to bulk make this and split it into 3 separate meals:
- undercook the meat. Sear then cook for 10 min and separate into containers and freeze/refrigerate them. (Basically stop before step 4)
- thaw soup and put on stove; then while rice cakes are soaking, that’s the time to finish cooking the meat and adding everything else.
Overall- super yummy!!! So excited I found this and it’s very easy to make!
