I added some brown sugar, chipotle powder, and more cinnamon, paprika, and cumin. I would cut the amount of Turmeric in half as it became a bit overpowering and took away from the sweetness of the potatoes, hence the addition of some brown sugar. I also added a splash or two of lime juice and put the whole half cup of cilantro into the soup itself. Then served with more cilantro and a lime wedge. Pretty tasty! It would go good with some hot naan bread too.
