I added carrots and onions to the bottom of the crock pot instead of the foil. I also added some butter. Did 3 hours on high, 1 hour on low. Taste and texture of the chicken was wonderful! It was falling off the bone.
3rd time making this recipe, some additional notes: my crock pot can only handle a bird about 5 lbs. Served with barbecue sauce and mac n cheese for my picky eaters. Makes great leftovers!
