This is an amazing recipe!! Probably not a beginner one but honestly I like to just cook on the fly. If you just have all the ingredients prepared ahead of time you are good. Just watch your oil temp and if you don't think your chicken is done just cut it in half and check but if you put it back in it might spit so be ready for hot oil. I cooked in about a 1/4" in of oil and just flipped every few min. I used a Ninja foodi pot for the rice, 3 cup rice 3 cup water, 15 min on pressure cook. The rice finished like 20 min befor the chicken and I just left it and it was fine.
