Like others have mentioned, it can be incredibly greasy and messy.
The last time I made this I dry toasted the buns in the pan without any butter, and also didn't use any oil when frying the beef. There's enough fat in the beef (don't use lean) to fry it nicely witihout it being an oily mess. It was still juicy without being increadbly greasy!
Also, put two patties into your burger if you don't find it filling enough.
