Added 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shredded co-jack cheese
Used 1 teaspoon garlic powder instead of fresh
Served with oyster crackers
Used 1 1/2 cups cooked rice- may consider reducing, will have to see after defrosting.
Also may add some chopped carrots and celery next time, if so will definitely reduce rice to 1 cup, or add another can tomato sauce or more broth. Don’t want to have to mess with adjusting seasonings again.
