This would be better if you used a cup of whipping cream or half-and-half instead of milk…it’s just way too watery! Also, I suggest cooking your pasta to al dente prior and then adding it to the dish. The liquid in the regular recipe isn’t enough to cook the noodles sufficiently; it’s just too liquidy if you don’t swap out the milk for whipping cream or half-and-half to thicken. I only use 1/4 cup of cheese or it’s too cheesy for our tastes. It’s not a favorite dish but since it has so many veggies it’s a good quick dish.
