Cook the sausage (I used jimmy dean hot roll). Then add the carrots and celery to cook for a few min. Add the onion until translucent, then add the garlic for a min. When fragrant, add the seasonings. Instead of red chili flakes, I used half chili powder and half red pepper flakes. Add the wine and cook off for a min or 2. Add the broth and cook for 10 min.
I add the gnocchi in the broth and cooked per pkg instructions 3-4 min until floating, before the cream. Once everything is cooked, i turn off the flame, add the heavy cream, grated parmesean and then the spinach.
Added shredded parmesean as a topping.
Probably makes 6 bowls/servings.
