Used Christopher Ranch bottled minced garlic (added great flavor). Subbed canned beans for dried 1 1/4 cup of Bob’s Red Mill 13 Bean Soup Mix and 3 cups of water. Sautéed veggies as directed and added spices — then, transferred it to small crock pot and added the 3C water and bay leaf. 4 hours on low and it ready, although 6 hours would’ve been better. MM said he liked the “soup” part. Even XX liked it (she dug out the pieces of diced canned tomato’s). Next time can try adding some ground beef.
