A decent recipe base which I ended up adjusting quite a bit. Like almost everyone else, I didn't do the tenderizing part, especially since I was using ground turkey.
I accidentally added extra chili powder when I misread the teaspoon as tablespoon, but it was actually quite good 😂
I subbed in some leftover barbecue sauce I needed to use up for the tomato sauce, which also turned out well, especially since I didn't have the tomato sauce handy! I'll definitely try this as written though, because it was quite easy, and I think any missing flavour can be fixed by tasting the meat before adding it to the peppers.
I served it with mashed potatoes, and the family enjoyed it (the mash sopped up extra sauce and extended the meal enough that it served four adults, without mash or another side it will only serve three).
