I’m not one for slow cooker meals unless it’s a soup or stew, but this was soooooo easy and perfect for our busy weekday nights with sports. Both of my kids loved it and so did I; it was delicious. A few things to note:
- I used low sodium chicken gravy mix
- I added onion powder and a dash or two of soy sauce and Worcestershire at the end
- Towards the end of cooking, I left the pot partially uncovered and turned it on high to thicken up the sauce; check it regularly to mix and ensure nothing burns.
- Served with mashed potatoes and a side salad
