While mine didn't have the nooks and crannies, it did taste like English muffins, and made an excellent toast for breakfast.
Quick and easy to make, it's a great addition to a breakfast or brunch table, and I'm definitely considering using it for an eggs Benedict meal.
I think it does end up being rather low crowning, but that may also benefit from extra rising time on my part (I rushed).
It makes a delightfully crunchy toast, and may actually be best toasted only on one side.
Family complimented it as "good toast bread", so I consider it a win 😁
