I've noticed that a lot with meatless recipes which could well be considered a vegetarian or vegan main dish. They are often portioned as side dishes. With this app's nutritional information, my solution is generally to check the percentage of protein that's listed if I see plant based proteins that look sufficient. If the protein is less than at least 20% of daily value, I adjust the portion size. If you actually edit the recipe it will show how the other nutrients are affected, although you can generally see potential issues from the bar graph.
