Garlic powder and Ginger powder next time. Not the paste. And brush on perhaps. So gravy not sitting on the top of the fish like a thick paste.

Keep it thick just get the fish half to three quarters done and hit it with the broiler on high until the sauce starts getting little char bubbles. At least that's what worked for me on this one.
