I agree with some of the others. They were too sweet. It feels weird saying that about a cookie. I even used dark and semi-sweet chocolate, and they were still too sweet. I baked them 8 minutes at 350°, and they were white. I let them cool a little, and they were soft in the middle. For the next batch, I did 8 min on 350°, and then I turned the broiler on low for an extra minute to get them a little brown. They were still a little chewy. Third batch, I did 10 minutes on 350°, and they were cakey. The cookies were also thicker than we like. I used this recipe bc I couldn't find my go-to. I don't think I'll be using this one again.
