Made a fairly modified version of this. Added 1.5lb Italian sausage, used regular heavy cream, regular pene pasta, and a whole can of diced tomatoes. It's good but slightly bland. Next time I think I'll add more tomatoes. Maybe some grape or cherry tomatoes halved without blending them and mushrooms.
