honestly, the taste was average. nothing too special, except the poppy seeds giving these madeleines a nice little crunch.
though the whole process seemed kinda off.. the batter was wayyy too runny even after chilling in the fridge (or maybe its just my fridge that’s the problem), the tops didn’t rise no matter how much baking powder i added and my madeleines were sticking to the mold despite being generously brushed w/ butter.
i would either add more flour or less butter, but genuinely, this recipe felt like a waste of time and ingredients
