Instructions

Step 1
Whip the eggs, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla, and poppyseeds until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Sift in the flour and gently fold. Pour the brown butter and gently fold until just combined. Let the batter rest for at least 1 hour.
Step 3
In the meantime, brush the madeleine pan with butter and let it chill in the freezer. Scoop 2 tbsp of batter into the pan, and bake immediately at 350f for 8-10min.
Step 4
Once the madeleines are cooled down, dust with powder sugar and top with some more lemon zest, enjoy!
