Went a bit off the recipe because our round pan was already in use, but came out *beautifully*!! Substituted lemons with lime because we had a surplus, and I cannot get over how amazing the lime curd was - I'm already itching to find more recipes as a reason to make more curd with lemons, and maybe blood oranges??
An absolute banger of a recipe! And the cake was super fluffy! (Ah - though I did fold in 6tbsp of fluffy aquafaba? I didn't quite measure but figure it couldn't hurt).
And though it came out well in the bread pan and can be done, I would recommend sticking to the recipe's recommendation of a round pan or pie plate: the curd all rested at the bottom and it was just the tiniest-bit too curd-heavy in some spots. As you can see, we had some spillage when I flipped it out of the pan, so it had to cool on a plate (oops!).. Problems solved with a proper cake pan!
