Sooo good! However, I substituted the mushrooms with mixed baby potatoes, which I cut in half and part boiled separately before adding to the pan. I just dont like mushrooms (sorry hubby) and I think those potatoes are a good earthy sub. I do this with every recipe that calls for a good amount of shrooms. Oh, also cooked the garlic with the onions a bit before adding the potatoes.
I added the whole pint of heavy cream to get more sauce, and bc let's be real, it would've went to waste in the fridge. Because of that, I added about a third of a cup more of parmesan and it thickened just fine.
I wish I would've made more chicken to have more leftovers:( Served with rice. This is probably the best sauce I've made so far.
