Used penne noodles since we ran out of egg noodles, I added better than bullion roasted chicken, and I crushed the garlic instead of mincing. It took about 45 minutes to prep since the kids were helping and slow cooked it for about 7 hours and the last 15 minutes for the noodles. The kids loved it and I enjoyed it too - which is something, because I'm normally not a soup person.
