This is a great way to spice up standard 99 cent Ramen! I'm one person so I halved the recipe. I didn't have brown sugar so I used honey for the sweetness and I think it worked fine. I also used ½ tsp crunchy chili oil and I like the added crunch. It's pretty spicy for me as a spice lover so adjust to taste. I think this is a good base for a noodle dish! It's great with a fried runny egg too. As a college student, this is a new go-to. I'm going to put some crunchy breaded chicken on it next time.
