What fun! I made 3. I had this idea that we would each have one to eat. I would just roll it up like I knew what I was doing... The first one looked hideous! I laughed so hard. I cried. I was so mad I wasted food. BUT I cooked it anyway. Then I made another one. It was not as ugly but definitely pitiful looking. I cooked that one too. By the time I did number 3, I used the aluminum foil to spread the dough on and then applied the filling. I used the aluminum foil to roll the Stromboli. It worked like a charm and it turned out BEAUTIFUL. We ate the first one. I was not going to waste it. I was fully prepared to throw it in the trash. I didn't have to. Ugly yes but it was SO good!! We ate it all. One was more than enough. I froze the other two. I don't know if they can freeze but I'm trying it. Overall, I think this recipe takes some practice to look pretty but no skill at all to taste amazing. You can't fail! Thank you for a fantastic date night with my family. We enjoyed every minute.

Haha yes using the tin foil in the way to go. I’ve become a pro at this point. My husband requests this almost weekly!
