Don't be afraid of flavour! As is, this recipe is very bland. I added paprika, some marjoram, Maggi seasoning, some vegeta, and a splash of soy sauce, and some more salt to the soup itself. I doubled the amount of rice to stretch this meal further. I also grated one carrot and left the second as diced so that the sweetness of that carrot comes through and dissolves into the soup. If I do it again, I'll grate all the carrot.
