Allspice is just one spice contrary to how it sounds. It's not a substitute for garam masala

lol I don’t think allspice means it literally contains all spices but thanks for assuming I’m an idiot. A suggested substitute I found online for garam masala is a combination of cumin and allspice so that’s why I decided to use a little bit of allspice in the recipe.
