Oh man, this was delicious. I changed it up a touch! I doubled the recipe, used half cannelini beans and half chickpeas, and blended about 1 1/2 cups of kale with the beans at the start of the recipe. I also sauteed one onion with the garlic and toasted the spices for a minute towards the end of the sautee. I used half smoked paprika and half regular paprika to add a bit of oomph. Loved!!
