The biscuits were as you expect, good and crispy that leaves every bite a satisfying memory to remember, they had a delicate texture and crumbles in your mouth and I swore it tasted faintly 'sweet', like not sweet but you could definitely taste the influence the buttermilk and teaspoon of sugar had on it. As for the sausage, the seasoning blend was my idea rather than in the original recipe, but overall with the seasoning blend it definitely refined the sausage's taste and helped balance out the thickness from the slurry, the first thing I noticed was the fennel seeds when I bit into a biscuit covered with the seasoned sausage gravy blend, the nutmeg when I originally added it in it was 1/2 teaspoon but even the chef as well as me said it was too nutty for his preference so I lowered it to 1/4 teaspoon, hopefully it gives a faint nutty flavor to the recipe and helps add spice and umami to the dish. Overall 10/10 would recommend especially if trying to conserve money
