It turned out absolutely delicious! ๐ This is a vegetarian forward version of the recipe, but for meat eaters, I'd recommend browning 1 lb of your choice of ground meat (I used turkey) after step 1, then continue the recipe as listed. Also feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste! I prefer mine spicy so I added cayenne. Also, the longer you let it simmer, the richer the flavor. I ended up letting it go for about 1.5 hours, but it is ready to eat after 30 minutes. This goes perfectly with cornbread. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๏ธ
