Had to up the cumin and add chili powder (approx 1 tablespoon?) to get to a true chili taste, but otherwise this is a beautiful fall season chili. Sort of a squash soup meets traditional chili. Did not add cream to soup, but did add a dollop of sour cream to each bowl. The fresh herbs were definitely a boost to the flavor. Not much spice as written, but easy to doctor to your own preferred heat levels.
