Thumbs up and thumbs down, actually. The apples mixture is fantastic, the prep of dicing the apples produced a filling that was well cooked, even using two different types of apples ( Enterprise and Macintosh). The topping was dry and not a lot of flavor. It did get better the second day when it soaked up some of the juice and flavor from the apples.
