I've made this with a top and bottom round roast. My husband wanted roast beef for his sandwiches but it was $15 per lb at the store. I bought inexpensive $8 roasts that weighed about 2.6lbs. we have a meat slicer so I was able to slice it very thin. Tastes incredible and I'll never buy store bought again. I used it to make some homemade sliders for dinner one night in the photo I posted. Pick yourself up an inexpensive $13 programmable thermometer so you don't overcook. If you have that, this is incredibly simple. And don't forget, a fully chilled slab of meat is easier to slice thin.
