This picture is what we had leftover.
I made about 4 chicken breasts (cut in half, to thin out, as the recipe says). I used 5 cloves of garlic. Instead of unsalted butter, I used garlic, parmesan and basil infused butter, tripled the amount of mushrooms because my family loves cooked mushrooms, added 2 Roma tomatoes (chopped) and about 8oz of fresh spinach.
I added the tomatoes and spinach to the pan about 1 minute before I added the cream and waited for it to cook down a bit (about 3-4 minutes) before I added the cream and finished the recipe as advised.
Also, I combined all of my seasonings in a separate bowl, measured by my hearts desires, and sprinkled it on the chicken, measuring with my soul.
It turned out moist, delicious, and savory!
I served it with a side of steamed broccoli, and sliced cucumbers that I drizzled some garlic expressions on (I really like garlic lol)
Side note, the prep and cook time took about an hour- hour and 20? Definitely took longer than 30 minutes, even with my kiddos helping mix the seasonings and chop the veggies.
