More shallot and mushrooms the better. The oatmeal is mostly there for fullness and not the main star of the dish. Compound flavor relying heavily on the toppings/egg. Salt and garlic are vital. Definitely not fully husband approved, lol. "Oatmeal needs something." We both agree the oatmeal by itself is not recommended, so ratios are important when serving. As you can see from my photo, I have higher oatmeal than toppings. I would make this again since we liked it and can see where we could do better here.
